BIOGRAPHY
Fridge is a British alternative rock band from Birmingham. Formed in 1993, the band consists of Kieran Hebden (guitar, vocals), Adem Ilhan (guitar, bass, vocals), and Sam Jeffers (drums, percussion). Their music is known for its inventive use of guitars and samples, as well as its intricate vocal harmonies. Over the years, their sound has become increasingly electronic and experimental, incorporating elements of techno, dub, and hip-hop music.
Fridge has released four studio albums, including their most famous album, "Semantica" (1998). They have also released numerous singles and EPs, as well as two live albums. In 2003, Hebden and Ilhan formed the electronic music duo Four Tet and continued their solo careers. Jeffers became a photographer and session musician. Fridge reunited in 2011 and released a new album, "The Sun", in 2012.
