Patrick Bruel is a French singer, actor, songwriter, record producer, and poker player born on May 14, 1959 in Tlemcen, French Algeria.
After being a child star in the 1970s with songs like "Marre de cette nana-là", Bruel experienced more mature success in the 1980s with hits like "Place des grands hommes" and "Casser la voix". He is also known for his film roles in "The Dinner Game" and "The Boys and Guillaume, à Table!".
Bruel has sold over five million albums and 30 million singles throughout his career. He was named a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2002 and was promoted to Officer of the Legion of Honour in 2014.
