John K (born John Kevin Kiernan on November 16, 1991) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known for his work with the band The Chainsmokers, with whom he has co-written and produced several hit songs, including "Don't Let Me Down", "Something Just Like This" and "Closer".
