BIOGRAPHY
ECHoBOY, whose real name is Richard Warren, is a British musician known for his work in the field of electronic and experimental music. He began his career at the end of the 90s and is often associated with the electroclash movement, although his music covers a wide range of styles, including indie rock and ambient.
The ECHoBOY project emerged after Warren left his previous band, The Hybirds, and decided to focus on his own vision of electronic music. His first album, "Volume One", was released in 2000 and was followed by "Volume 2" the following year. These albums mixed elements of psychedelic rock with electronic structures, offering a unique approach that captivated many critics and listeners.
One of his most recognized albums, "Giraffe", was released in 2003 and marks a period of maturity in his music with more refined melodies and high-quality production. This album includes singles that have performed well on certain underground scenes and alternative clubs.
ECHoBOY is known for his ability to integrate complex textures and immersive atmospheres into his music, making it not only a music project to listen to but also a global audio experience. While he has never reached massive fame, Richard Warren and his alter ego ECHoBOY continue to be respected among alternative music connoisseurs for their artistic integrity and innovation.
