Jason Van Wyk is a South African artist and musician, born on June 21, 1980, in Johannesburg. He grew up in Pretoria and started his musical career playing the guitar and singing in local clubs. In 2001, he released his first album "Breathing," which was well-received by critics and reached the top 10 of the South African charts. He subsequently released "Waiting" in 2004 and "Beautiful World" in 2006. In 2008, his fourth album "In a Perfect World" was a commercial success, reaching number one on the South African charts and earning him two Grammy Award nominations. In 2010, his fifth album "The Light in Your Eyes" also reached number one on the South African charts and received another Grammy Award nomination. In 2012, his sixth album "Love Will Take You" was also successful. In 2014, his seventh album "Beautiful Life" also reached number one on the South African charts. In 2016, his eighth album "This Is Who We Are" was also a commercial success. Jason Van Wyk is a very talented and popular artist in South Africa and internationally, with over five million albums sold worldwide and two Grammy Award nominations.
