Moonbeam is a trance and progressive house music duo originating from Perm, Russia. Formed in 2002, the duo consists of Pavel Khvaleev and Vitaly Khvaleev. They have released several albums and singles on labels such as Black Hole Recordings, Armada Music and Anjunabeats, and have collaborated with numerous artists, including Terry Bickers, Matisse & Sadko, Avis Vox, Steve Birch and Jacob Henry. The duo gained recognition with their first album, "The World Through Your Eyes" (2006), which topped the trance sales charts in Russia. They subsequently released two more albums, "Nocturnal Animals" (2009) and "Light Years Away" (2012), which were also well received by critics. In 2013, they released their first mixed album, "The 2nd Law", which topped the trance charts in Russia. In 2014, the duo signed with the label Armada Music and released their fourth album, "Tales From Beyond". The album was well received by critics and topped the trance charts in Russia. In 2016, they released their fifth album, "Seven Lives", which also topped the trance charts in Russia. In 2017, the duo signed with the label Anjunabeats and released their sixth album, "Atlas". The album was well received by critics and topped the trance charts in Russia. In 2018, they released their seventh album, "The Moon Is A Dead World", which also topped the trance charts in Russia. In 2019, the duo released their eighth album, "The Sun Is A New Star". The album was well received by critics and topped the trance charts in Russia.
