At 19, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his musical career. In 2003, he released his first single, "Bitch, I'm Famous," under the name Starkillers. The single became a club hit and was played in clubs worldwide. In 2005, he released his first album, "Starkillers," under the dance music label Nettwerk. The album was well received by critics and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart. In 2007, he released his second album, "Kill the Lights," under the same label.
