Turkan is a Turkish singer and songwriter. She was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 10, 1983. Turkan launched her musical career in 2001 with the release of her self-titled first album. The album was a success and Turkan became a recognized singer in Turkey. She has since released four additional albums and has also made appearances in several films and television shows. Turkan is married to Turkish singer Murat Boz.
