Vika Jigulina is a Romanian singer and DJ, born on February 16, 1986, in Tiraspol, Moldova. She is best known for her single "Stereo Love", which reached number one in Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia, as well as in the US dance charts.
Jigulina grew up in Tiraspol, where she began her DJ career at the age of 14. She later studied music and marketing at the Moldova State University. In 2007, she moved to Bucharest, Romania, to pursue her career as a DJ and singer.
In 2009, Jigulina released her first single, "Stereo Love", in collaboration with Moldovan DJ and producer Edward Maya. The single was a international hit, reaching number one in several European countries. Jigulina has since released several other singles, including "Desert Rain" and "I'm Going Crazy". In 2011, she released her first album, "Free Your Mind".
In 2012, Jigulina was ranked number 84 in the DJ Mag Top 100, an annual list of the world's top DJs. In 2013, she was ranked number 79. She was also ranked number 11 in the 2013 Top 100 DJanes.
Jigulina is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In 2012, she participated in the "I Am a Girl" campaign, aimed at raising awareness that girls have the same rights as boys.
In 2013, Jigulina was named a UNESCO Peace Ambassador by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
