BIOGRAPHY
Zoe Badwi is an Australian singer born on June 16, 1982, in Sydney. She began her musical career in 2002 as a backup singer for the Australian pop group Rogue Traders. In 2006, she released her first solo single, "Freefallin'", which reached second place on the ARIA Singles Chart. She then released her first album, "Random", in 2007, followed by her second album "This Time" in 2009, "Let Go" in 2012 and "Reset" in 2016.
Badwi, who grew up in Sydney and attended Kambala secondary school, holds a degree in theatre from the University of Sydney. She has also made television appearances, including in the 2006 Australian reality show "Celebrity Survivor" and in "Dancing with the Stars" in 2007. She has also appeared in Australian films "Accidents Happen" in 2009 and "Tomorrow, When the War Began" in 2010.
The artist has been awarded several prizes, including the ARIA Music Award for Best Female Single in 2007, the ARIA Music Award for Best Pop Album in 2009, as well as the title of "Singer of the Year" at the Australian Recording Industry Association Awards in 2010.
