Rio is a French singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known for his hit singles "Ma direction" and "Je ne suis qu'un homme". Rio was born in Paris, France on October 26, 1980. He began his career as a singer in the early 2000s, releasing his debut album Rio in 2002. The album spawned the hit singles "Ma direction" and "Je ne suis qu'un homme". Rio's second album, A l'ombre du showbiz, was released in 2004 and featured the hit single "Les choses simples". In 2006, Rio released his third album, Les mots bleus, which featured the singles "Les mots bleus" and "Les maux qui nous rongent". Rio has also appeared in a number of films and television shows, including the films L'amour c'est mieux à deux (2006) and Passe-passe (2008), and the television series Plus belle la vie (2006-2007). Rio is currently working on his fourth studio album, which is set to be released in 2019.
